Californication; Showtime. 9:30 pm. Series Premiere.
David Duchovny stars a s a hack writer who nails any female with a heartbeat. Okay, I'm sure there's more to it; I just haven't heard more about it.


Tuesday 8/14

I Wanna Be a Soap Star; Soapnet. 7 pm. Season Premiere.
Wow-- this show made it through three seasons?

Tori & Dean: Inn Love; Oxygen. 9 pm. Season Premiere.
And this show actually made it through one season and is working on Season Two?


Thursday, 8/16

Today is the 30th anniversary of Elvis Presley's death, and there will be lots of his movies on TCM from 5 am until about 11 pm.

TV Land will be airing Elvis specials from 11 am to 9:30 pm.

That Ellis Guy is a Little Off

I know none of my known readerbase reads comic books, but once in a whiole I like to throw it in here.

There's a writer named Warren Ellis who has a big following because he's great (think Spielberg for comics). He also gives great interviews. You don't have to be a comic fan to laugh at this dude's answers.
