Top Gear America; History. 8 pm CST. Season Premiere.

The Week the Women Went; Lifetime.  9 pm CST. Series Premiere.
The women in Yemassee, SC leave town for a week to let the men fend for themselves.
I wonder what crazy hijinks they'll get into. Burning dinner, screwing up pigtails on the kids, forgetting to add fruits and vegetables to lunches...
C'mon-- it's on Lifetime... You know: the "men are bad" channel?

The Glee Project (Oxygen; 9 pm CST). Season Finale.

Collection Intervention; Syfy. 9 pm CST. Series Premiere.

Not sure if I'll stick around, but it is brought to us by Tom Fontana and Barry Levinson, so I have to give it a try.

Finally, a weatherman who makes bold forecasts

Sunday, 8/12

2012 London Olympics Closing Ceremony; NBC. 6 pm CST.

Hell on Wheels; AMC. 8 pm CST. 2nd Season Premiere.
It wasn't the greatest show I watched last year (yet it was very solid), but the characters make it worth coming back every week.  And main actors Common-- and especially the magnetic Anson Mount, carry the series very well.  They're both just fun to watch.
And I also have to give props to the best antagonist from last year: The Swede (who hails from Norway; one of my favorite gags).

Comedy Central Roast of Roseanne; Comedy Central. 9 pm CST. Special.
Hosted by Jane Lynch.

Animal Practice; NBC. 9:38 pm CST. Series Premiere/Sneak Peek.
A comedy set in an NYC animal hospital, starring Justin Kirk (who always brings-it on Weeds-- even when he doesn't have much to work with) along with Tyler Labine (who kills on every show he's been on).
Now I just have to hope the show is decent, for both their sakes.

The Dark Knight Rages

Lucius Fox pwned

I love Lucius Fox from the Dark Knight trilogy; one of my favorite characters.

But I love cynical humor even more.

Sorry, Lucius...
