I almost feel a little dirty posting this...
This has to be the best reaction to the sickest prank I've ever seen.

WEB SOUP: Extreme Office Parkour
I don't know why, but this very MTV-nonsense/x-treme sports-inspired clip from Web Soup cracks me up every time.
I idiots who responded to this clip on YouTube didn't get the joke, I guess.
Just so my much smarter readers "get it": it's a joke. It's "extreme".
Just laugh, okay?

A New Show to Get Hooked On
My computer/movie guru Tom told me I needed to try G4's Web Soup.
I told him I did try it (I try all The Soup-related shows), but I didn't like it.
He said "Try it again."
I did, and... I didn't like it.
Tom didn't give up and told me to try again.
And after I watched last week's marathon of 4-5 episodes, and, especially after seeing last week's new episode, I gotta say I'm liking it.
Each episode gets better, and Chris Hardwick is no Joel McHale-- yet-- but he's getting better (and I'm sure will find his own path).
Check it out. G4 on Sunday's at 8 pm CST (and a number of repeats throughout the week).
And heeeeere's a clip:

Now Here's Something You Don't See Every Day
My video clip/e-mail joke guru Allan sent me the link to this video.
This guy was returning from a fishing expedition in SE Alaska and ran across these guys.
Man, it's an amazing world out there, isn't it?

Unnecessary Censorship: Sesame Street Mashup
Some repeats as the other day's post, but there's new stuff too.

Premieres and Notables: July 20-26, 2009
Monday, 7/20
Wake Up With Al; Weather Channel. 5 am CST. Series Premiere.
Al Roker's not busy enough each morning, I guess...
Torchwood: Children of the Earth; BBC America. Forgoing a regular (third) season of episodes, the Torchwood gang is giving us a 5-part miniseries that runs from 8-9:30 pm every night this week. TV Guide's Matt Roush gave it 10 out of 10 (nothing else he reviewed this summer got higher than an 8).
Three Sheets; FLN. 9 pm CST. Season Premiere.
Tonight, it's whiskey in New Zealand.
Tuesday, 7/21
Hell's Kitchen; FOX. 7 pm CST. Season Premiere.
Ruby & the Rockits; ABC Family. 7:30. Series Premiere.
David Cassidy and Alexa Vega are father and daughter musicians.
Thursday, 7/23
Sothern Belles: Louisville; SOAPNet. 9 pm. Season Finale.
Saturday, 7/25
Being Human; BBC America. 8 pm. Series Premiere.
A vampire rooms with a werewolf and a ghost.
I don't know if it's a comedy or a drama (I'm guessing comedy, but I thought the network did dramas on Saturday).
Sunday, 7/26
I have a bad sense of deja vu for this. I may have listed it last week. If I did, my bad. Sorry:
Doctor Who: Planet of the Dead; BBC America. 7 pm. Movie.
The end of David Tennant's run as The Doctor begins here in this movie.

My Favorite Things: deepdiscount.com
If Oprah can do it, so can I.
Here is one of my favorite things, a website called deepdiscount.com.
And why is it one of my favorites? It's got cheap DVDs very often-- and twice a year it runs a big sale on every DVD they've got. This time, it's 25%. When you check out, put in this code: SUPERSALE, and then every DVD you put in your cart gets 25% taken off. Boo yah!
You can only use the code once until the sale expires on Aug 2nd, but there are other codes out there. Do a Google search.
I've been on a DVD forum, and there's been some whining that prices on some items have gone up since before the sale started, but anyone who watches that site knows the prices fluctuate up and down.
25%!
There's some good prices. How about Newsradio: The Complete Series (yes, people, the entire f-bombing series for less than $25)? Maybe The Loop Season One for $7.25? How about The Job Complete Series for just over $20? Z Rock Season One for under $10?
Good shit here. Check it out.
Yeah, some things (more every day) are backordered, but who cares? Shipping is free via media mail (again, who cares), but who doesn't have other DVDs to watch while you wait for these? BFD-- the prices are too great.
Oh yeah, I don't know how this works exactly, but if you sign in through bing.com, Bing gives you 4% cashback (I've heard that it takes the 4% before the discount, and I've heard they take it after the discount; doesn't matter-- it's 4 more %).

I'll never have as close of friends as these women...
No way in Hell would I have two of my buddies with me for a trim...
