Crazy Hockey Trickshot
I don't know how he did this, but it's wild.
Okay-- he used a string (check at 0:08 or so), but it's still wild.

Planes Trailer
After seeing Cars 2, I'm not sure I'm excited for something from "The World of Cars" anymore, but at least the trailer went with a White Zombie song.

And he brought along JB Smoove-- which means I'm in!
Fat Chef; Food Network. 9 pm CST. Series Premiere.
Two overweight chefs try to get on the healthy path.
Inside Comedy; Showtime. 10 pm CST. Series Premiere.
David Steinberg chats with his fellow comedians in this talk-show type series.
Friday, 1/27
Chuck (NBC; 7 pm CST). Series Finale.
The little show that could finally signs-off after five years.
And as many boneheaded moves the monkeys at NBC make, I do give them credit for keeping this show on the air longer than it probably should have, considering it's usual low ratings.
Spartacus: Vengeance; Starz. 9 pm CST. Season Premiere.
Sunday, 1/29
Luck; HBO. 8 pm CST. Series Premiere.
David Milch brings us a new drama set in the world of horseracing-- and brings along such actors as Dustin Hoffman, Dennis Farina, Joan Allen, Nick Nolte, Jill Hennessy, and Michael Gambon.

More tinkering to Return of the Jedi
So you thought the new, lame, "Noooo!" by Vader on the Blu-Ray was bad?
Looks like the team at Lucasfilm didn't want to stop there...
(Okay-- Lucasfilm had nothing to do with this...)

Premieres and Notables: January 16-22, 2012
Monday, 1/16
The Revolution; ABC. 1 pm CST. Series Premiere.
Tim Gunn and Ty Pennington and others give tips on how to overthrow the government.
Ok-- that's not true. Like you're gonna watch anyway. But who the Hell comes up with these show names? The Revolution. So pompous. It's gonna be a bunch of boys chatting like a bunch of girls. That's novel, right?
Viva la revolucion! (<--or however you spell it. I'm way behind, so I'm not checking.)
Alcatraz; Fox. 7 pm CST. Series Premiere.
From the mind of J.J. Abrams comes this series about prisoners who disappeared in 1963 and show up decades later in present-day San Francisco to wreak havok. ...And the three people whose task is to hunt them down and figure out why those returning prisoners haven't aged in all that time.
Heat Seekers; Food Network. 7 pm CST. Season Premiere.
Being Human; Syfy. 8 pm CST. 2nd Season Premiere.
Tuesday, 1/17
Remodeled; The CW. 8 pm CST. Series Premiere.
Another model show... Yay!
But wait! This one is about a dude who helps modeling agencies get better, not really on the models.
Like you care. --I mean: I sure do.
Justified; FX. 9 pm CST. 3rd Season Premiere.
So-- how to top Margo Martingale's Mags Bennett from last season? Good question.
Exec producer Graham Yost goes back to one of his earlier shows (the brilliant Boomtown) and hires Neal McDonough and Mykelti Williamson to be the Big Bads this season.
Oh boy-- this is gonna be good.
Extra treat for me (and other fans of her): Carla Gugino has a recurring role this season.
Southland; TNT. 9 pm CST. Season Premiere.
Now with 100% more Lucy Liu.
Ink Master; Spike. 9 pm CST. Series Premiere.
Another tattoo show.
But this one is hosted by Dave Navarro.
Five bucks says he wears a shirt or coat that he doesn't button. Dave likes to show off his pecs...
White Collar; USA. 9 pm CST. Mid-season Premiere.
Wednesday, 1/18
American Idol; Fox. 7 pm CST. 11th Season Premiere.
Ugh-- can't wait to see this show mentioned in every magazine I open until June...
Mistresses; BBC America. 9 pm CST. Season Premiere.
Thursday, 1/19
The Big Bang Theory (CBS; 7 pm CST) celebrates its 100th episode tonight.
Archer; FX. 9 pm CST. 3rd Season Premiere.
One of the best shows on TV.
It's not for everyone's tastes-- but if you "get it", you'll love it.
And Burt Reynolds voices himself in this episode, so now's a good time to give it a shot.
Unsupervised; FX. 9:30 pm CST. Series Premiere.
FX goes for a second animated series; this time about two teens who have parents who aren't around much.
Friday, 1/20
Shark Tank; ABC. 7 pm CST. Season Premiere.
Saturday, 1/21
An Idiot Abroad 2: The Bucket List; Science. 9 pm CST. Season Premiere.
Ricky and Stephen send Karl out into the world again.
The Revolution; ABC. 1 pm CST. Series Premiere.
