Community and the Guarascio and Port Twitter LInk

I don't know what to think about what's been happening with Community.

First it was pretty assured it was getting cancelled.  Then it got renewed for 13 eps (yay!)-- but on Fridays (uh oh-- but at least it's back) after Whitney (Jesus-- why not just cancel it outright if it gets that lead-in?).

Then (cocreator and showrunner) Dan Harmon was fired. (That's not good.)  But while Harmon was the mastermind behind the show, it really wasn't gaining an audience (and it really won't have a chance to get beyond the next 13 eps at the current rate).

So why not just kill the show?  How, as a huge fan, can I watch next season knowing Harmon's not killing himself making a weekly masterpiece?

Well, because I owe it to the writers who stuck around-- and to that phenominal cast.  It probably won't be as brilliantly insane as the first three seasons, but it doesn't mean it can't still be a funny show.

So I'm sticking around at least long enough to give it a proper try when the revamped show returns this fall.  And new showrunners David Guarascio and Moses Port came from Happy Endings, which turned into a nice little show last season.

And they're having a lot of fun being the new guys on Community if their Twitter account is any indication.
