This six-part series stars Sigourney Weaver as a former First Lady who becomes Secretary of State. Sounds a bit familiar, but the cast insists it's its own story-- and not the real-life someone else's.
It also stars Ellen Burstyn, Ciaran Hines, Sebastian Stan, James Wolk, and-- one of my favories-- Carla Cugino. And it's Exec Produced by Greg Berlanti (of Jack & Bobby and Eli Stone; two more of my favorites). That's a lot of good right there and probably worth trying.
