So I missed noting the Doctor Who season premiere last week (let's blame my resources-- and the BBC's delaying the announcement until just a couple of weeks ago). But, luckily, BBC America repeats the episodes fairly often. So check out the premiere ep "Asylum of the Daleks" (which is great, BTW; just fantastic-- and features the actress who will be The Doctor's next companion) at 7 pm, and then stay for the second ep "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship" at 8 pm.
Dinosaurs on a spaceship... How f-ing cool does that sound?
Big things are going to happen on Doctor Who's current season-- including the loss of his current companions and the gain of a new one (not a big spoiler as the news can be easily found). It will be big. It'll also probably move some pieces in place for some of next year's Doctor Who fiftieth anniversary celebration. It's a good time to be a Whovian (a Who fan; of which I consider myself a minor member of). Check it out.
Survivorman (Discovery; 7 pm CST). Season Finale.
Wallander; PBS. 8 pm CST (check local listings). Season Premiere.
Breaking Amish; TLC. 9 pm CST. Series Premiere.
Robot Chicken; adult swim (Cartoon Network). 11 pm CST. Season Premiere.
The RC crew starts their season with an all-DC Comics episode.
