My Giant Life; TLC. 9 pm CST. Series Premiere.
A reality show about tall women.
Yep... It's true.
The Jim Gaffigan Show; TV Land. 9 pm CST. Series Premiere.
Gaffigan stars in this show based on his life and his stand-up.
I saw a preview of it last month, and it was entertaining.
Impastor; TV Land. 9:30 pm CST. Series Premiere.
Michael Rosenbaum stars as a guy way down on his luck, who takes on another man's identity-- which ends up being a small-town pastor on his way to his new gig.
I saw the pilot last month, and I found it a lot of fun. I love Rosnebaum in comedies, and, even when the jokes fall flat, he is delightful. It doesn't hurt at all for Sara Rue and David Rasche to be on the show either.
I don't know how long this premise will work, but I'm down for taking the trip.
Thursday, 7/16
Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll; FX. 9 pm CST. Series Premiere.
Denis Leary and John Corbett star in this series about a band who broke up the day their debut album dropped-- because the guitarist found his wife in bed with the singer.
Now they're getting back together when the singer's daughter hires them to play backup to her vocals.

Hell on Wheels; AMC. 8 pm CST. 5th Season Premiere.
(At least the first half).
This show has been getting better and better (aside from the weak killing-off of a major character last summer), and I am excited to see what they do for this final one.
Even if you don't "feel" the plots, you have to tip your hat to the work Anson Mount has been doing on it.
